Authentication templates

Authentication templates are a Whatsapp category that allows sending templates that contain a verification PIN.

Once the name is completed, the Authentication option, the group and the category in Atom are selected, you can choose the options related to editing the template.

Here you can choose the options of Copy code or Autocomplete buttons, where with this last option, it will be directly linked to the app where this verification was requested. If the app is installed on the device, it will be linked and will take this code sent.

You can enable the security recommendation, by clicking on it which adds additional text to the message, as well as you can customize the expiration time, which we can select from the timer.

IMPORTANT:

  • These templates can only be used by API, they will not appear in the conversations, flows or campaigns module.

  • This template is only available for customers with Cloud API.

  • The only action that can be carried out in this template is to activate or deactivate it. They cannot be edited.

  • The body of the message in this type of template is not editable due to restrictions established by META.
