Configure Talkdesk within Atom

Configure Atom within Talkdesk

Prerequisites

  • You must have the Talkdesk Cards App Canvas application installed. If you don't have it installed, click here to learn how.

  • Download the Atom configuration file from the Integration Settings panel.

Configuration

Create a card

  • Within your Talkdesk account, navigate to the Workspace Designer (Fig. 1, step 1)

  • Select the Cards option (Fig. 1, step 2)

  • Press the Create card button (Fig. 1, step 3)

  • A window will open to create the Card. Complete the requested fields (Fig. 2, step 1).

  • Press the Create button (Fig. 2, step 2).

  • You will be redirected to the Automation Designer page (Fig. 3).

Import the Atom configuration file

  • Press the contextual menu button located in the upper right corner of the screen (Fig. 3, step 1).

  • Select the Import version option (Fig. 3, step 2).

  • A window will open to import the card version. Press the Choose a file button or drag the Atom configuration file to the window (Fig. 4, step 1).

  • Press the Confirm button (Fig. 4, step 2).

  • The Card version is imported.

Publish the card

  • Press the Save button (Fig. 5, step 1). If everything is correct, the Publish button will be enabled.

  • Press the Publish button (Fig. 5, step 2).

Configure a Panel

  • Return to the Workspace Designer page (Fig. 6, step 1).

  • Select the Panels option (Fig. 6, step 2).

  • Press the Create panel button (Fig. 6, step 3).

  • A window will open to create the panel. Complete the requested fields (Fig. 7, step 1).

  • Press the Create button (Fig. 7, step 2).

  • You will be redirected to the Panel configuration page (Fig. 8).

Link the card to the panel

  • Press the Add card button (Fig. 8, step 1).

  • Select the card you configured previously (Fig. 8, step 2).

  • You will see that the card has been added to the panel (Fig. 9, step 1).

  • You can adjust the size of the card in the panel by pressing and dragging the lower right border of the card (Fig. 9, step 2).

  • Press the Save button (Fig. 9, step 3).

Configure the Cards App Canvas

  • Return to the Workspace Designer page (Fig. 10, step 1).

  • Select the Canvas option (Fig. 10, step 2).

  • Press the edit button for the Cards app (Fig. 10, step 3).

  • You will be redirected to the Automation Designer page (Fig. 11).

  • In the left side panel, select the Render Panel option (Fig. 11, step 1) and drag it to the canvas (Fig. 11, step 2).

  • Connect the Canvas Trigger component (Fig. 11, step 3) with the Render Panel component (Fig. 11, step 4).

Link the panel to the Cards App Canvas

  • Double-click on the Render Panel component. A pop-up window will open (Fig. 12).

  • Fill in the Component name field with a name for the panel (Fig. 12, step 1).

  • Select the panel you configured previously (Fig. 12, step 2).

  • Press the Save button (Fig. 12, step 3).

Publish the workflow

  • Press the Save button (Fig. 13, step 1). If everything is correct, the Publish button will be enabled.

  • Press the Publish button (Fig. 13, step 2).

View Atom within Talkdesk

  • Navigate to the Cards app page.

  • You will see that the canvas you configured starts to load (Fig. 14).

  • All set! Enjoy the Atom experience within Talkdesk.

Help with configuration errors:

  • Return to the Cards section in the Workspace designer, you will see the card you created.

  • Press the Pencil icon that appears on the right on your card (Fig. 16). You will be redirected to the Automation designer.

  • Press 2 times (double click) on the Atom component (Fig. 17, step 1). A side panel will open with the configuration of said component.

  • Press the Preview button, which appears at the bottom right (Fig. 17, step 2).

  • Wait a few seconds, while Atom starts loading (Fig. 18, step 1), when the integration starts loading, you can close the preview (Fig. 18, step 2).

  • Save the component, pressing the Save button.

  • Save and publish the Card, pressing Save and then Publish, just like you did when you created the Card.

  • With this, you could corroborate the configuration, following the steps detailed in the View Atom within Talkdesk section.
