It is important to understand that these are two distinct but complementary actions:
Disconnect the integration from Atom
Uninstall the application from HubSpot
Both are necessary if you are seeking a complete removal of the integration.
1. Impact and critical consequences
Before proceeding with the uninstallation, it is essential to understand what effects this action has on your data, interface, and automations.
🔴 Data flow interruption
When you remove the integration:
Atom stops listening to events coming from HubSpot.
The sending of properties and contacts from Atom to the CRM stops.
New data no longer syncs in any direction.
🧩 Changes in the Atom interface
Once the integration is disconnected:
The HubSpot information side panel disappears within Atom.
HubSpot components are removed from Flowbuilder.
All previous configurations are deleted:
Property mappings,
Owner assignment, and
Rules associated with the integration
In the CRM, it will no longer be possible to send templates or webhooks.
🗂️ Properties in the HubSpot CRM
When Atom connects to HubSpot for the first time, two groups of properties are automatically created in the CRM:
Atom Information
Atom Traffic Source
What happens when you remove the integration in Atom:
These properties are not deleted from the CRM.
Historical data remains, but stops being updated.
If the integration is reconnected in the future, these groups: Are recreated and automatically linked again.

Step 2. Locate the HubSpot card.
Step 3. Click on the three-dot menu in the corner of the card and select DELETE.
Step 4. Safety confirmation - A pop-up window will appear requesting confirmation.
Type the word DELETE (in capital letters).
Click the DELETE button.
Result of this phase:
The integration is deleted.
The HubSpot card changes to "Connect" status, ready for a future reconnection if desired.
Atom stops sending and receiving information from HubSpot.
Phase B: Uninstalling the application from HubSpot
This phase completely removes the Atom application from your HubSpot CRM.
Step 1. Log in to your HubSpot portal and click the Settings icon (gear) in the top navigation bar.
Step 2. In the left side menu:
Expand Integrations
Select Connected apps
Step 3. Search for the Atom application (or the name corresponding to your instance) and click Actions → Uninstall.
Step 4. Safety confirmation
Type the word Uninstall in the requested field. Confirm by clicking Uninstall.
Final system state
Once both phases are complete:
The Atom application is completely uninstalled from the CRM.
No events are sent or received in any direction.
The integration no longer exists in either Atom or HubSpot.
If you reconnect in the future:
The app will automatically reinstall in HubSpot.
Atom's property groups will be created again.
Process completed successfully! 🚀
Uninstalling an integration from scratch requires care to avoid affecting your daily operations. If you followed both phases (disconnect from Atom and remove from HubSpot), your environment is completely clean. If you decide to use our connection again in the future, the system will reinstall the app and create the property groups again without any issues. Manage your integrations with total control! ✅
