In this article, we share a series of effective shortcuts and practical tips designed to simplify, speed up, and enhance the creation of your Inbound flows in Atom.
🔄 Tip 1: Quick component switching
If during design you notice that you need to modify the structure, you can take advantage of the canvas's visual tools to change or adjust a component quickly. This saves you from having to delete an entire branch and reconnect the nodes from scratch, keeping your flow organized and saving design time.
👯 Tip 2: Clone one or multiple components
Don't work double; save valuable time by duplicating structures you've already configured previously:
For a single component: Select the node you've already created and click on the "Clone" icon within its options menu.
For multiple components: If you need to replicate an entire sequence, select all nodes by dragging the cursor, use the copy function on your keyboard (Ctrl + C or Cmd + C), locate the exact place on the canvas where you need them, and press paste (Ctrl + V or Cmd + V).
🦘 Tip 3: Jump function to reuse or reactivate branches
If some of the branches in your flow lead to the same resolution or end with the same message, there is no need to duplicate those blocks over and over again.
You just need to use the Jump component (Jump Start / Jump Destination), which allows you to redirect the user to another previously built location in the flow. This speeds up management and keeps your map much cleaner.
When configuring a Jump, you can:
Limit repetitions: Select the exact number of jumps the customer can make (that is, how many times in a row you allow them to follow that same path) to prevent loops or infinite loops.
End the interaction: Decide whether you want to activate a "Flow End" immediately after traversing the jump.
Redirect attention: Perform an immediate reassignment to a specific agent or support group as a result of that jump.
