💡 When is it convenient to use wa.me links?
These links can be useful in the following scenarios:
🔁Redirection to another WhatsApp number: when the bot channels the user to a number other than the original (e.g. specialized care, executives, branches).
🌐Derivation from other channels: if the bot is on the web or social networks and you need to take the user to a conversation in WhatsApp.
📲External campaigns or automatic derivations: as part of flows that connect with other points of contact.
🧠 Tip: Always clarify to the user that they will be redirected to another number or channel before using the link, to avoid confusion.
✅ Good practices
✔️ Use the links only in Message components, never in templates.
✔️ Test the links before publishing the flow to ensure they direct correctly.
✔️ Keep the numbers with the country code and without signs or zeros (e.g.541112345678, not+54 11 1234-5678).
