🛠️ How to configure a Facebook channel from Atom?
To start the process of configuring your channel within the platform, follow these steps:
Select the module Settings > Platform > Channels.
Click on the "Create Channel" button located in the upper right corner.
On the channel selection screen, click on "Facebook".
Click on the "Continue" button.
On the provider selection screen, "Facebook" will be automatically checked, since it is its own provider.
Click on the "Continue" button.
On the bot selection screen, click on the one that the ATOM team previously developed for your company.
Click on the "Continue" button.
On the channel summary screen, if you wish, you can change the name and description of the channel you are adding.
Click on the "Save" button.
(Next you will see the confirmation that the channel was added; however, it is not yet connected to Facebook).
🔗 How to connect your channel to Facebook?
Once the channel is created in Atom, you must link your account to authorize message traffic:
To connect the channel, click on the "Connect" button.
On the Messenger connection configuration screen, the necessary requirements you must keep in mind to connect the channel are displayed.
Click on the "Connect with Facebook" button.
Next, a window will open where you must log in to the Facebook account corresponding to your company that you wish to connect.
Fill in with the access credentials (email and password) associated with the account and click on the "Sign in" button.
Select the page you want to use with Atom.
Click on the "Next" button.
Next you must grant all permissions requested by Atom so that the channel works correctly.
Click on the "Save" button.
Next, the confirmation will appear that you linked Atom to Facebook. Click on the "Agree" button.
Select the Facebook page you want to connect to the channel.
Click on the "Save" button.
Next, the confirmation will appear that the channel was successfully connected. Click on the "Accept" button.

On the channels screen you will be able to see that your Facebook channel is already connected and ready to receive traffic from your customers. ✅
