Use carousel templates to boost your business
In this article, we will discuss the use and configuration of carousel templates, an option that will be a great ally when promoting your products and services in a dynamic way.
Carousel templates are the most dynamic and attractive options for presenting products and services. These templates not only allow you to display multiple options in a single message, but also offer an interactive user experience that can significantly increase engagement and conversions.
The carousel template functionality will allow you to share a minimum of 2 cards and up to a maximum of 10 cards with a description and buttons, which you can use, for example, to show a catalog and offer different products or services.
On the other hand, you cannot delete cards if there are only 2, so the delete button will be disabled. Similarly, you cannot add more cards if there are already 10. In that case, the duplicate button is disabled, the card counter does not allow adding more, and the "+ Add card" button will not be enabled either.

Where do I find Carousel templates?
To access the carousel templates, you must access the left side menu, Messaging > Templates. And when creating a template, you will select Templates from Scratch, and in the type of templates, you must select Carousel.
Editing a carousel
Edit Carousel will allow you to edit the text that will accompany the cards and will give you access to the card editor.
By clicking on the pencil you can edit the text that will accompany the cards:
IMPORTANT: It is essential to edit the first card to enable changes to subsequent cards. Keep in mind that the initial card will be taken as the basis for the rest of the cards.
Subsequently, the options to edit, duplicate or delete the cards will be enabled. Simply to Edit, click on the Edit button as shown below and there you will access to customize your card:
To add the cards, you can do it from the add cards button and you can add up to 10 of them, with image, description and button(s). You can also go to the personalization section, where you can add or remove cards from your carousel.
Also keep in mind that:
Buttons of: Quick reply, maximum 25 characters. URL buttons with a maximum text of 25 characters and URL string of 2000 characters maximum. Phone number, must have valid format are admitted.

IMPORTANT: Carousel templates for Flowbuilder flows cannot be selected if they have a single button with a link.
If you want to delete or edit the text of a button, you can do it by clicking on the icon corresponding to the action as you see below:
Editing a card
To edit a card, click on Edit and there you will have access in the image section. Select the image or video of your preference and then click on the tick to save the change or click on the cross if you want to delete that image. For the video simply click on the video button to add it.
Suggestion for loading images on cards:
We recommend the following points to take into account to ensure optimal visualization of the images in your cards:
Allowed formats: JPG, PNG
Maximum size: 5 MB
Recommended resolution: 1280x763px
To edit the description of the card, click on the pencil icon and complete with the desired text. You can add emojis, bold, italics or strikethrough. Then click on the tick to save the changes.
Once you are satisfied with all your cards, to save the changes, simply click on save changes and you can access the preview to visualize how it would look!
IMPORTANT:
Remember that, once the template is created and approved by Meta:
cards cannot be added/deleted/reordered
you can edit the header file, the selected fields in the body, and you can modify the values of the buttons but not the texts.
Clarification: carousel templates are not currently available for use in Flowbuilder.
