You can manage all your automations by going to the sidebar menu, selecting the Campaigns module and then the Flows submodule.
By clicking on the options menu (three dots) of any of your flows, you will find the following management tools:
🧰 Basic Management Options
👁️ View: Allows you to visualize the complete flow structure in image format (read mode), ideal for quick reviews.
✏️ Edit: Opens the Flowbuilder editor so you can make the necessary changes.
Note: This option will only be available if the flow is in "Draft" or "Error" status. Active flows cannot be edited.
📋 Duplicate: Through this function you can clone an existing flow. The system will ask you to enter a name for the new flow and choose the destination channel (in case your account has more than one WhatsApp line configured).
📲 Simulate: Allows you to test the flow's operation before publishing it, validating the experience to correct any errors.
🚀 Publish: Activates the flow so it goes to production and begins to execute according to the configured timing.
🛑 Deactivate: Stops a flow that is currently in production. A confirmation box will appear; click "Deactivate" and the flow will stop executing.
📥 Download flow: Allows you to export and download the flow file, ideal for having a backup or importing it into another environment.
🧪 Simulate a Flow
Before publishing the flow and proceeding with mass campaign sending, it is essential to test its operation. Simulation allows you to validate the customer experience and correct errors in time.
How does the simulator work?
To get started, you must enter a phone number to receive the test.
Manually complete the information fields (variables) that your initial template has.
Once the simulation starts, if the template send was successful, the component will change its borders to green color.
As you progress through the process by interacting with the options, the components of the branch you are traversing will be colored.
The screen has a logs area where the technical status of the interaction between the bot and the destination phone is reflected.
⚠️ Important:
If your flow contains errors or incomplete branches, the simulator will show you a box warning you what they are and how to resolve them.
Remember that it is normal that when simulating a flow a real conversation is not generated in the agent's inbox in Atom.
🧷Flow Simulation Through Webhooks
If your flow is created from a Webhook trigger (used to interconnect your CRM or other external system with Atom), you can also simulate it.
For this connection to work securely, authentication is necessary through an API Token.
Where do I get the API Token?
1. Go to Settings > My Company > Settings.
2. In the security section, you will be able to generate or view the API Token needed to perform the send.
Note: Only users with Administrator role have the necessary permissions to access this module and manage tokens.
🚀 Publish a Flow
Once you have simulated your strategy and are confident there are no errors, it's time to launch it.
Click the Publish button inside the Flowbuilder.
If the structure is correct, a box will appear asking you to configure the flow time (the duration in hours that the automation will be active waiting for responses).
Confirm the action and you're done! Your flow will move to active status.
Total control over your campaigns! 🚀
Learning these management tools will allow you to organize your automations, recycle successful strategies by duplicating flows, and ensure zero errors by using the simulator before going to production. ✅
