Uninstalling and Removing the Integration between Atom and HubSpot
This article explains how to disconnect the HubSpot integration from Atom, how to completely uninstall the Atom application from the HubSpot CRM, and details what happens before, during, and after performing these actions.

1. Critical Impact and Consequences
Before proceeding with the uninstallation, it is essential to understand what effects this action has on data, the interface, and automations.
🔴 Interruption of data flow
By removing the integration:
Atom stops listening to events coming from HubSpot.
The sending of properties and contacts from Atom to the CRM stops.
No new data is synchronized in either direction.
🧩 Changes in the Atom interface
Once the integration is disconnected:
The HubSpot information side panel disappears within Atom.
HubSpot components in Flowbuilder are removed.

🗂️ Properties in the HubSpot CRM
When Atom first connects to HubSpot, two groups of properties are automatically created in the CRM:
Atom Information
Atom Traffic Source
When deleting the integration in Atom::
These properties are not deleted from the CRM.
Historical data remains, but stops being updated.
If the integration is reconnected in the future, these groups:Are recreated and automatically relinked.

2. Step-by-step guide
#### Phase A: Disconnecting HubSpot from Atom
This action cuts off communication between Atom and HubSpot, but does not remove the app from the CRM.
Step 1.Enter Atom and go to Configurations → Platform → Integrations
Step 2.Locate the HubSpot card.
Step 3.Click on the three-dot menu located in the corner of the card and select DELETE
Step 5. Security ConfirmationA pop-up window will open requesting confirmation.
Type the word DELETE (in uppercase).
Click on the DELETE button.
Result of this phase
The integration is deleted.
The HubSpot card goes to the “Connect” state, ready for a future reconnection if desired.
Atom stops sending and receiving information from HubSpot.
Phase B: Uninstalling the application from HubSpot
This phase completely removes the Atom application from the HubSpot CRM.
Step 1.Enter your HubSpot portal and click on the Settings icon (gear) in the top bar.
Step 2.In the left sidebar menu:
Expand Integrations
Select Connected applications
Step 3.Find the Atom application (or the name corresponding to your instance) and click on Actions → Uninstall.
Step 4. Security Confirmation
Type the word uninstall in the requested field. Confirm by clicking Uninstall.
3. Final system status
Once both phases are completed:
The Atom application is completely uninstalled from the CRM.
No events are sent or received in either direction.
The integration ceases to exist in both Atom and HubSpot.
