Quick Reply and Template Categories in Atom

How to create a Quick Reply and Template Category?

  • Select the Configurations > Messaging > Categories module

  • Click the "Create Category" button located in the upper right corner.

On the Create Category screen, complete the following fields:

  • Name: This is the name by which you can identify the category within Atom.

  • Associate Category: Enables the possibility of associating the category in the Quick Replies and/or Templates modules.

Actions on a category

In the "Actions" column you can see a button with three dots. Clicking on it will display the options to Edit or Inactivate a category:

  • After clicking on the "Edit" option, the following screen will be displayed:

Associate a system category with a Quick Reply

  • When creating or editing a Quick Reply, you can choose between selecting an existing category or creating a new one. If you choose to create a new category, through the "New Category" button, it will appear in the categories module.

Associate a system category with a Template.

  • When creating or editing a Template, in the Templates module, there is a "Information for the system" section where you can choose an existing category to associate it with.

Use of categories in the Conversations module

The created categories are used to group Quick Replies or Templates available to be sent in conversations.

To use categories to insert a Template in a conversation:

  • Go to the Conversations module.

  • Choose a conversation with a contact.

  • Click the button in the message writing area.

  • Choose the category that contains the Template you need to insert.

  • When entering a particular category, you will be able to see the list of templates belonging to it.

You also have the possibility to preview the templates when choosing one of them, in order to make their identification easier.

To use categories to insert a Quick Reply in a conversation:

  • Go to the Conversations module.

  • Choose a conversation with a contact.

  • Click the button in the message writing area.

  • Choose the category that contains the Quick Reply you need to insert.

  • When entering a particular category, you will be able to see the list of replies belonging to it.
