What are the permissions contained in each Atom role?

Learn about the default user roles in Atom: Agent, Supervisor, and Administrator. Discover what permissions and modules are assigned to each one by default to securely and efficiently manage your team's access.

Atom is configured by default with 3 types of user roles (Agent, Supervisor, and Administrator), to which specific permissions are assigned within the platform according to the operational function they perform.

Below, we detail which modules and access each one has enabled by default:


🎧 1. Role: Agent

This is the profile designed for first-line customer service. Its main focus is to manage chats and resolve inquiries.

Permissions and access modules:

  • Conversations Module.

  • New Conversations.

  • Customers Module (with the exception of Download and Block Customer functions).

  • Dashboard Module.

  • Quick Campaign Sending.


🔎 2. Role: Supervisor

This is the profile responsible for monitoring operations, auditing agent work, and analyzing basic performance metrics (The supervisor cannot receive conversations; conversations are exclusively for users with the AGENT role).

Permissions and access modules:

  • Conversations Module.

  • New Conversations.

  • Customers Module.

  • Blocked Customers Module.

  • Tracking Module.

  • Users Module.

  • Reports Module (limited access to: real-time, historical, and daily).

  • Dashboard Module.

  • Campaigns Module (quick send only).

  • Settings Module (limited access to: customer configuration, tags, typifications, quick replies, categories, and unblock customers).


⚙️ 3. Role: Administrator

This is the profile with full control over the platform. It has access to all settings, operational integrations, and advanced metrics.

Permissions and access modules:

  • Conversations Module.

  • New Conversations.

  • Customers Module.

  • Blocked Customers Module.

  • Tracking Module.

  • Users Module.

  • Groups Module.

  • Automated Tasks Module.

  • Settings Module (full access).

  • Dashboard Module.

  • Reports Module (full access).

  • Campaigns Module (full access).

  • Facebook Marketing Module.

  • WhatsApp Flows Module.

  • Atom Magic Module (AI).


⚠️ Keep in mind: If you decide to create additional custom roles in the future, the system will not allow you to create roles with repeated names. Each role must have a unique identifier.
