In this article we tell you what parameters are for and how they can add a higher level of customization and agility to your conversations and automations.
🤔 What are parameters and what are they for?
The parameters (or variables) are tags that allow you to insert dynamic and personalized information in messages and workflows within the platform.
Their main function is to prevent your messages from sounding robotic or generic. For example, when configuring a template, parameters automatically adapt to the specific data of each client (such as their name, their order number or their interest).
👉 Practical example: Instead of sending a cold mass message like "Dear customer", you can use a parameter to send "Hi, [Name], how are you?". The system will replace the [Name] parameter with the actual data of each person at the time of sending.
🎯 Where and how can I use them?
You can access the Add Parameter icon ({ } or /) and use them in multiple modules of Atom:
📢 Marketing or remarketing campaigns: Address your clients using their name or specific data, which dramatically increases response rate and engagement.
🛤️ Flowbuilder: Use them to greet a registered customer, to save new data in the Inbound Flowbuilder, or to send stored information to your CRMs and internal systems via HTTP requests.
🤖 Automated Tasks: When sending automated information through HTTP requests.
💬 Message Templates: So that Meta approves templates with dynamic variables.
⚡ Quick Replies: So that agents respond quickly without losing personalization.
📱 WhatsApp Flows: In the construction of native forms.
🔗 Atom APIs: For programmatic management of Customers and Templates.
🗂️ What parameters can I use?

3. Integration Properties This category is displayed only when you have at least one external integration connected to Atom (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and you have information fields mapped from those systems.

The correct use of parameters not only optimizes your team's time and improves your integrations, but makes your customers feel recognized and valued at every point of contact. ✅
