📸 What are Static Lists and what is their true purpose?
Static Lists are segmentation tools designed to capture a specific moment in time. Their fundamental nature is to act as a snapshot (an exact photograph) of your database.
When setting up a static list from your existing customers, the system searches through your history and groups only the contacts that meet your rules at the exact instant you click "Save". Unlike other methods, membership in this list is "frozen"; that is, it will not automatically add or subtract contacts in the following days (unless you decide to edit it manually).
⚖️ Technical difference with Dynamic Lists:
While Dynamic Lists are "prospective" (born empty and capture customers in the future continuously), Static Lists have a strictly retrospective purpose. They are ideal for one-time sends, historical remarketing, or end-of-month audits where you need the audience volume to remain unchanged.
🌟 Operational benefits of static lists
Deep segmentation without Excel: It is no longer strictly necessary to export your database to CSV and filter it in Excel to upload it again; you can cross multiple variables directly from the platform.
Absolute clarity: You know exactly how many people and which people will receive your campaign at that precise moment.
🛠️ Step by step to create your Static List (From existing customers)
Access Route: Go to the Campaigns > Lists module in your left sidebar menu. Select Create static list and then choose the option From existing customers.
Building logic (Groups of Conditions): Just like in dynamic lists, you can stack filters using logical operators:
The Initial Counter (Preview) and Creation: In the interface, you will see an approximate count of customers before saving.
⚠️ Important Preview Rule: This number is an approximation to validate your strategy. There may be a slight delay of minutes in data synchronization.
🧠 Variables Dictionary
All these variables analyze the information recorded in the user's profile at the exact moment you publish the list.
Last Typification: Filters by the final result of the conversation (whether closed by an agent or by self-management).
💡 Tip: You can activate the "Set by time period" button within the same typification (e.g., "Typified as Sale 2 weeks ago"). Don't look for a separate date filter.
Customer Stage (Prospect and Service): Unifies your sales and support segmentation under a single variable. Simply choose "Prospect" or "Service" and select the corresponding stage.
Last Message: Segment conversations by evaluating the last activity. You can choose whether the last message was from the Customer or the Company, and assign it a time window (hours, days, weeks, or months). Ideal for inactivity remarketing.
Origin: Divide your audiences according to their acquisition: Click to WhatsApp (selecting the Meta campaign), previous Campaigns, or Web traffic source.
Agent: Allows you to filter whether the service was provided by a "Human" or a "Bot/Flow", allowing multiple selection.
Information Fields and Tags: Use custom attributes (e.g., City, Model) or quick tags assigned by your agents to find hyper-specific profiles.
Flow Abandonment: Catches users who left an automated conversation halfway. The system identifies as "abandonment" those chats where the bot asked a question or sent a message, the customer did not respond, and the session timeout expired. It is ideal for creating recovery campaigns for customers who did not complete a process.
🔎 Operators and System Limits
To ensure your lists are processed correctly and without errors, the constructor follows certain infrastructure rules:
Group and Condition Limits:
You can create a maximum of 5 groups per list.
Each group supports a maximum of 5 conditions.
Dynamic Operators:
Depending on the field you choose (Text, Number, Currency), the system will adapt the comparators. For example, in numeric fields you will see "Greater than" or "Less than", while in text you can use "Contains" or "Contains any of" (separating values by commas).
📋 Duplicate and Edit your Lists
To speed up your operational work, the constructor includes cloning and editing tools:
Duplicate a Group of Conditions: Within your list, use the copy icon (📄) in the corner of a group to clone all its rules instantly. The copy is 100% independent; editing it will not affect the original.
Duplicate a Complete List: From the general table, you can duplicate a static list. This will copy only the filter configuration, not the customers, allowing you to take a "new photograph" under the same rules on a different day.
Editing Existing Lists: When you click "Edit" on a static list, you will see your normal customer table. If you decide to "Add new customers -> From existing customers", the new constructor will open showing your saved filters so you can re-calculate or adjust your snapshot.
Launch campaigns with surgical precision! 🚀
Understanding the "photographic" nature of Static Lists is key to audits and timely sends. By mastering the new condition groups and respecting system limits, you will have complete control over who receives your messages, without needing to rely on manual exports. Set your snapshot and optimize your communication! ✅
