🛠️ Common errors when connecting flows to a bot

When implementing aWhatsApp Flowwithin a bot, there are key details that you must verify to ensure that it works correctly.

⚠️ 1️⃣ The flow stops in the first messages

Probable cause:One or more buttons within the flow contain text that exceeds the limit of 20 characters per button.

Solution:Review the buttons and reduce them so that each text does not exceed 20 characters.

✅ For example:❌ “I don't need to talk to an advisor” (29 characters)✅ “Talk to an advisor” (18 characters)

⚠️ 2️⃣ The flow does not respond or does not advance

Probable cause:TheWhatsApp Flow is not published in the same channelwhere the bot is running.

Solution:Make sure to create and publish the flow in the specific channel where it will be used. For example, if your bot is active in the test channel with the number+573162421890, then the flow must have beencreated and published in that same channel.

💡 Tip: If you made the flow in another channel (production), duplicate it and publish it in the test channel before embedding it.

✅ Recommendations to avoid errors

✔️ Simulate the flow before publishing it in production to ensure that all paths and buttons respond correctly.✔️ Verify that all buttons have a defined action in Flowbuilder.✔️ Make sure that all elements of your flow respect the current limitations of the platform.
