📋 Before you start (Checklist)
For the system to allow you to perform the duplication, make sure you meet the following:
Flow status: Your source flow must be in "Published" status (the duplicate option is not available for flows in "Draft" status).
Channels ready: The destination WhatsApp channels must already be connected and active in your company.
⚙️ Step by Step to Duplicate your Flow
1. Locate the source flow
Go to your WhatsApp Flows section and locate in your list the published flow you want to reuse.
2. Open the actions menu
Click on the three vertical dots (⋮) that appear next to the flow name and select "Copy".
The system will give you two options:
Duplicate to the same channel: Creates an exact copy on the same phone number. (The channels selector will appear locked because the destination is already automatic).
Duplicate to other channels: Allows you to choose new phone lines.
3. Configure the duplication (Multiple channels)
If you chose "to other channels", a configuration screen will open:
Edit the name: Give your new flow a recognizable title.
Select destinations: Open the dropdown menu (it's required) and choose one or several WhatsApp channels connected to your company, regardless of which Business Manager Administrator (WABA) they belong to.
Update variables: If your original flow used mapped variables, you can update them here. Attention: the value you enter will apply to all channels you just selected.
💡 Tip: You can select your same source channel as a destination. If you do, the system will show you a small visual indicator to confirm it.
4. Confirm the action
Click the "Duplicate" button. You will see a notice reminding you that "When duplicating this flow, it will be necessary to publish it again in Meta".
While the system works, you will see a loading screen. When finished, a green success message will appear.
⚠️ Caution: During the loading process, do not change modules, do not refresh the screen, and do not cancel the action, as you will lose progress and nothing will be saved.
5. Verify your new flows
Once the process is complete, go to your list. Each duplicated flow is now a 100% independent entity (they do not share metrics or history with the original).
🚨 Golden Rules (Key Considerations)
New Meta approvals: Since you cloned the flow to new lines (or created copies), each of these new flows will require its own review and approval from Meta. Check the publication status of each duplicated flow individually.
Take advantage of the creation shortcut: You don't have to wait to publish an old flow to duplicate it. If you just created or imported a new flow (from a JSON, template, or Business Manager), when you finish creating it the system will immediately offer you the option: "Duplicate flow to other channels".
