How to Configure the Atom Web Plugin?

Configuring the Atom Web Plugin and adding it to your company's website will allow you to enjoy multiple functionalities in terms of traffic generation. (For more information: What are the Functionalities of the Atom Web Plugin?).

The Administrator is the only one who has the necessary permissions to configure the Web Plugin.

To configure the Atom Web Plugin, follow the steps detailed below:

  • Select the module of Configurations > Platform > Channels

  • Click on the "Create" button located in the upper right.

  • Click on the Web Plugin option.

  • Click on the Continue option

  • Image: Select the image with which the web plugin will be displayed on your company's website; it can be the logo or something representative of your brand. Name: This is the header of the web plugin. Description: You can specify your company's slogan or a welcome message. The description appears below the name. Language: Corresponds to the language in which your web plugin will be configured; you can choose between Spanish or English. Color: This is the color of the header of the web plugin; you can select a color representative of your brand. Activate button movement: Enables the movement animation of the button during the specified runtime. Data persistence: Enables saving conversations in the browser cache. Runtime: It is the time in seconds that the web plugin will wait to deploy when a customer visits your website. Customization: Corresponds to the text with which the chat will be started.

  • Activate button movement: Enables the movement animation of the button during the specified runtime.

  • Data persistence: Enables saving conversations in the browser cache.

  • Runtime: It is the time in seconds that the web plugin will wait to deploy when a customer visits your website.

  • Customization: Corresponds to the text with which the chat will be started.

Add Web Plugin Screen

  • Click on the "Continue" button.

Here you can select the Bot of your preference.

Once you have selected the bot, click on "Continue".

Once the web plugin is configured for your company, you will make the Connect button visible.

Once successfully connected, the plugin will appear ready to be connected to your website.

To add it to your company's website and get the plugin, follow the steps detailed below:

  • Select the web plugin that you just configured and click on the three-dot icon, and select the Get Script option.

  • Copy the code (web plugin script) that is detailed and paste it inside the tags...on the pages of your company's website.

  • You must have a bot previously configured for this web plugin, which must be assigned to a group.

  • You can move the chat bubble as you like, just by adding a parameter to the custom styles in the chat position. We leave you the following example so you can use it and modify it according to your preferences: The customchat property must be added to the current script as follows: customchat='["position: bottom-left"]'. This will allow you to change the position of the chat.
